Lawn Top Dressing Blend
Top dressing is for your lawn’s growing needs; it is most commonly used and recommended when overseeding. The mixture is composed of 70% sand and 30% compost, which provides sustained soil fertility, soil structure, growth stimulants, and enough porosity to improve drainage, as well as enhancing the nutrient levels and promoting healthier grass. The use of top dressing helps to level bumpy areas, fill in patches, and encourage grass seed germination. The recommended depth is 1” for this mixture.
